Woman charged with stalking Lakers' Luke Walton (AP) A woman has been charged with stalking Los Angeles Lakers forward Luke Walton. Stacy Elizabeth Beshear of El Segundo was arrested Sept. 18 after she pulled up to his car and pretended to fire gunshots at him with her hand, police Sgt. Steve Tobias said. The 34-year-old Beshear has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor count of stalking.
It's nothing close to the controversy of one year ago, when Kobe Bryant wanted nothing more to do with the Lakers, but Lamar Odom is a little miffed that Phil Jackson is entertaining the idea of starting Trevor Ariza instead of Odom at small forward.
"I would take it like he bumped his (expletive) head," Odom said of Jackson's notion. "Nah, that's a joke. I don't mean that."
Jackson wants to see how the tall front line of Odom, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum works together in training camp before deciding what to do. Ariza is a defensive standout with some limitations on offense.
"Lamar has to make an adjustment," Jackson said, referring to how Odom learns to co-exist with two 7-footers in Bynum and Gasol.

Jordan Farmar had previously been the starting point guard for the UCLA men's basketball team. He is very good at backing down players into the low post and ending with a slam or short hook…Defensively, Bynum is a load in the paint. Although not a prolific shot blocker, Bynum is adept at altering shots and forcing teams to shoot the outside shot. However, he is yet to face a player his size, so his one on one defense has not been truly tested…With time he should develop into an excellent shot blocker…The thing to remember here is that players with his size and mobility are a rarity.
